  • Spray large nonstick skillet with cooking spray; heat on medium heat.
  • Place 1 cheese slice on each of 4 bread slices. Top with apples, remaining cheese slices and remaining bread slices to make 4 sandwiches.
  • Whisk eggs and milk in pie plate until blended.
  • Dip sandwiches, 1 at a time, into egg mixture, turning to evenly moisten both sides of each sandwich with egg mixture. Place in hot skillet.
  • Cook 2 min. on each side or until cheese is melted and sandwiches are golden brown on both sides.
  • Serve with the syrup.

Serving Suggestion

Sprinkle lightly with icing sugar before serving with additional apple slices.
