  • Mix cream cheese product and wafer crumbs with fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. (Do not overmix.)
  • Toss apples with sugar and cinnamon until evenly coated; spoon into 1.5-L casserole dish. Sprinkle with crumb mixture.
  • Bake 15 to 20 min. or until crumb mixture is lightly browned and apples are tender. Serve warm.

    This one isn't a rich dessert, but I would make it again. I used Granny Smith apples, but I think I would have preferred a sweeter apple.

    I made this recipe based on the great ratings and comments. It was ok. Something just didn't taste right and I followed the recipe exactly as outlined. My husband thought we could have used the apples for better use. Will not make this again.
