  • Heat oven to 375ºF.
  • Mix first 5 ingredients in large bowl. Whisk eggs, milk and oil until well blended. Add to flour mixture; stir just unti moistened. (Batter will be lumpy.) Stir in apples.
  • Spoon into 12 muffin cups sprayed with cooking spray. Mix remaining ingredients; spoon over batter. Press lightly into batter.
  • Bake 20 to 25 min. or until golden brown.

    I used double the sugar using regular brown suger. I also added cinnamon (this seems a given with apples and brown suger!) I also substituted unsweetened apple sauce for the oil to make it healthier. It was a good not too sweet muffin.

    These muffins were horrible, I would never make them again. They had no flavour, and tasted doughy. I thought that the crumble topping would have made them good however that was all that was good about them. No one in my family liked them at all.
