  • Heat oven to 350ºF.
  • Line 13x9-inch pan with parchment, with ends of parchment extending over sides. Beat butter, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla in large bowl with mixer until blended.
  • Combine next 3 ingredients. Add to butter mixture; mix well. Stir in apples and nuts; spread onto bottom of prepared pan.
  • Bake 25 to 30 min. or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean. Cool completely.
  • Mix cream cheese product and icing sugar with mixer until blended; spread over dessert. Use parchment handles to remove dessert from pan before cutting into bars.

Special Extra

Sprinkle additional 1 Tbsp. chopped walnuts over frosted dessert before cutting into bars.
