  • Heat oven to 350ºF.
  • Toss apples with dry pudding mix in large bowl until evenly coated; spoon into 2-L casserole dish sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Combine oats, flour, sugar and cinnamon in medium bowl. Add butter; mix lightly. Sprinkle over apples; top with nuts.
  • Bake 45 min. or until streusel topping is golden brown and apples are tender. Serve warm topped with Cool Whip.

Substitute

Prepare using any other tart cooking apple, such as Spy, Gala, Ida Red or Spartan.

Variation

Omit nuts.
