  • Heat oven to 450ºF.
  • Place baking sheet on upper rack to pre-heat. Roast chicken, skin-side up, on rimmed baking sheet on upper rack 20 min.
  • Meanwhile, place chickpeas, onions and broccoli on another baking sheet; add to oven after 20 min. Continue roasting, 30 min. until chicken is done (165ºF).
  • Meanwhile, mix together remaining ingredients in microwavable bowl; microwave on HIGH 45 sec. Toss chicken in sauce and serve with vegetables.


Try cauliflower instead of broccoli.


Cooking chicken on the upper rack allows for extra crispy skin.

    The seven-year-old didn't like the broccoli and chick peas (fussy eater) but gobbled up the chicken. Everyone else loved it all.
