  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Cut apples lengthwise in half; remove and discard stems and cores. Place apple halves, cut sides down, on baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Bake 20 to 25 min. or until tender. Cool slightly. Meanwhile, mix Cool Whip and cinnamon until blended. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  • Microwave caramels and milk in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 45 sec. or until caramels are completely melted, stirring after 30 sec.
  • Place warm apple halves, cut sides up, in 4 dessert dishes just before serving; drizzle with caramel sauce. Top with Cool Whip mixture and nuts.


Substitute chopped pecans or walnuts for the peanuts.
