Place squash halves, cut sides down, in microwaveable dish. Add enough water to dish to fill to 1-inch depth. Microwave on HIGH 12 min. or until squash can easily be pierced with fork.
Substitute 8 (250-mL) ramekins sprayed with cooking spray for the 9-inch square baking dish. Place on rimmed baking sheet. Bake 15 to 20 min. or until heated through. Remove from oven. Heat broiler. Broil casseroles, 4 inches from heat, 2 to 3 min. or until tops are lightly browned.
Garnish with cherry tomatoes before serving.
