  • IN large mixer bowl combine first 8 ingredients; beat on HIGH 3 minutes or until blended.
  • POUR into a greased and floured 9 inch springform pan.
  • BAKE at 350°F for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean.
  • COOL 10 minutes; remove from pan.
  • FILLING: MICROWAVE caramels with milk on HIGH for 3 minutes or until melted; stir until smooth.
  • WITH small wooden spoon handle, poke holes into cake, spacing the holes evenly apart.
  • POUR caramel filling into holes and over top of cake.
  • GARNISH: SPRINKLE with pecans.

    The cream cheese mixture was so bland. I tried to add some punch to it by adding Zesty Italian salad dressing, finely diced red onion and cracked black pepper. Still tasteless and very disappointing. Probably one of the worst appetizers I've ever brought to a BBQ. Would not make again.
