These Banana "Canoes" are a fun variation on banana splits. Topped with vanilla pudding, whipped topping and OREO Cookies, these kid-pleasing desserts are as fun to make as they are to eat.

  • Prepare pudding as directed on pkg.
  • Cut each unpeeled banana in half lengthwise, being careful to not cut all the way through to bottom peel. Place 1 banana, peel side down, in each of 4 dessert dishes. Spoon 1/2 cup of the pudding down the centre of each banana.
  • Top each with 1 Tbsp. of the whipped topping and 2 cookies. Serve with a spoon for a paddle.


Save 90 calories and 2.5 g fat by using Jell-O Light Instant Pudding and Light Cool Whip Topping instead of regular.

    I didnt leave the banana's un-peeled, by doing this it made the recipie that much better (in my oppinion). I havent yet tried it with the peels left on but I would suppose that the rating would be a 3.
