Tastes heavenly! A must for any family dinner dessert, they will all ask for seconds.

02/04/2013

these are great! I've made them many times, my family loves them every time. The sweetness of the pudding goes well with the bananas and cream. The crust is also very good, I'll be making these again soon. Thank you Kraft for a great recipe!

10/11/2008

fabulous, tasty and light

09/12/2008

09/11/2008

this is excellent but I did tweak it a bit. I added a layer of strawberry ice cream topping after the cream cheese layer and substituted chopped peanuts for the pecans. I also drizzled both chocolate and butterscotch ice cream topping on the top

09/08/2008

A family favorite! I use 1 box of vanilla pudding and 1 box butterscotch pudding for a tasty variation!

08/27/2008

I was asked to bring a dessert to a barbecue and my magazine had just arrived so I chose this one - it was fabulous and a real hit with everyone. Very simple to make also.

08/27/2008

This was a big hit when I made it. I add strawberries to the top along with the banana and nuts and when I served it, I drizzled chocolate and caramel sundae topping over the cake. It was like a real banana split (without the icecream.

08/27/2008

I have made this recipe twice already. It was a hit with everyone. It's light not super sweet. Very enjoyable. So easy to make. Wonderful for anytime of the year. This will become one of my family favorites. In 30 years you will find this in my personal cook book.

08/24/2008

Wow! It served a lot of people and everyone loved it. Everyone wanted the receipe.

08/17/2008

EXCELLENT!!

08/14/2007

The taste is quite fabulous though I skipped the whipped cream on top as I'm not too fond of it... and yes the cake is pretty soft, almost mushy, but it's still pretty tasty ! I thought it would be too soft when I made it but it turned out okay !

08/05/2008

So delicious. Will make again

07/22/2008

I substituted Strawberries for the pineapple and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely will be giving this one another whirl.

07/13/2008

love, love, love this dessert!! I have made it several times and will several more I am sure.

07/02/2008

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm was great!

06/30/2008

Definitely delicious but much better the next day as the banana flavour was stronger.

06/18/2008

This is a perfect Summer dessert!! It's light and refreshing. I've already made this three times! I also used a cup more graham crakers for the crust as it tastes so good with the pudding.

06/13/2008

So easy to make, so delicious! I've made this about five times already and everyone has loved it!

06/16/2008

Loved it!! However I replaced the nuts with strawberries.

06/11/2008

I made this dessert in the morning and we ate it the same day after dinner and it was good, but the next day it tasted even more delicious!!! Very Yummy!!

Easy to make....used fresh pineapple instead of crushed. Tasted great. Loved by all. Definately would make again

05/19/2008

Very simple to make and tastes wonderful...you can dress it up with some chocolate curls on top. I used graham crackers as I didn't have crumbs and that worked out great

01/31/2008

01/04/2008

Family and friends absolutely loved it - even the picky ones!

11/10/2007

I made this for an office gathering, and prepared as individual servings in muffin cups...it was a big hit! Great result for a little effort

09/11/2007

Made this on two occasions summer 2007...big hit both times! Instead of pecans, I used shaved dark chocolate chunks and strawberries on top. Awesome...refreshing, but not too heavy after a big BBQ dinner!

09/05/2007

Mmmm, mmmm, mmmm! This is a keeper. We served it to company and they loved it.

08/28/2007

I didn't make this but a friend did. It is absolutely the best!

08/27/2007

08/20/2007

This recipe has been in our family for years. It was/still a favorite of mine that my Mom made as a special treat for me. She's gone now..but my sister now surprises me with this easy, yummy dessert. I do share!!

08/16/2007

I can't get enough of this cake! I make the lighter version and let me tell you, there's no lack of flavour. It's even BETTER than a real banana split because of the cream cheese layer. Perfect for casual entertaining/buffet style.

08/14/2007

This easy recipe, low calorie, serve great as after meal dessert, or afternoon snack. My whole family likes it most.

08/13/2007

Want a real Banana Split -- don't forget the strawbery preserves -- put on after the crushed pinapple (diet preserves can be used also), next, remember the chocolate fudge?--squeeze choc syrup over bananas and then decorate top of dessert with Choc syrup in diamond pattern or whatever suits. Add more pecans to top showing "contains nuts" and don't forget the maraschino cherries with stems to go on each serving. Also, I don't use sugar in this recipe and I don't use foil. Works well for me. Enjoy.

08/13/2007

This was an excellent dessert but I had trouble with the crust falling apart because I found the cream cheese mixture very difficult to spread. Will bake the crust next time instead of freezing and will add a bit of cool whip to the cream cheese for easier spreading.

08/13/2007

08/12/2007

amazing!!

08/10/2007

this is awesome!! i have made many times & everyone loves it. fresh pineapple is really yummy. i tried it with bananas & strawberries, that is our new favorite.

08/07/2007

07/17/2007

Awesome! I like it with fresh pineapple instead of the canned stuff.

07/10/2007

delicious

06/24/2007

I love this recipe. We don't do nuts at our house so instead I toped it off with chocolate shavings and because banana splits also have strawberries, i put some sliced ones in with the banana/pinapple layer. Deliscious ****

06/16/2007

Absolutely delicious My Tusday Ladies Club loved it

06/14/2007

Fantastic dessert! For those that have trouble with the cream cheese layer -- try microwaving it for 30-40 seconds -- much easier to spread. Also, we used lemon pudding instead of vanilla -- really yummy flavour and not too sweet. Thanks for the recipe.

06/05/2007

05/28/2007

Was a very good dessert. I made it for my dad's 60th birthday and everyone loved it.

05/26/2007

This is a great recipe. I would use whipping cream on top though.

05/06/2007

This cake was sooo awsome. Not a fan of bananas but talk about yummy!!! Loved it & so did my family!

04/19/2007

Just made this for Easter dinner dessert! Even my mother-in-law asked for the recipe. I have a diabetic family member so made it with Splenda, Light Jello Pudding, Becel Olive Oil margarine, light cream cheese and Cool Whip Light. Everyone loved it! I drizzled a little chocolate syrup on top and might put fresh strawberries on top next time. Yummo

04/10/2007

Delicious. Would definately make this again but wouldn't use foil, it was a nuisance.

03/24/2007

cant get enough of these, they get eaten up quickly, love, love, love them

03/20/2007

I loved this easy recipe. It's delicious. The only thing that I would do differently is to not line the pan with tin foil as the foil would tear when you are trying to dish it out- leaving you to remove it from your dessert.

03/18/2007

I make this all the time now as it is very light. I added strawberries to the top instead of bananas. All good!

06/29/2006

This is one of my favorites, but too have it more often need half the recipe

01/24/2007

11/02/2006

10/19/2006

this was delicious,my whole family loved it. The recipe was very easy and quick to make. Thank you.

10/18/2006

It was a hit at my dinner BUT.... I tried to make it healthier and used Splenda instead of sugar and it was toooooooo sweet, will reduce the amount next time.

10/15/2006

This is a really great recipe.I made it for our neighors thanks giving dinner.Everybody loved it.One of our friends kids wants this for his next birthday cake.

10/13/2006

08/30/2006

I added stawberries and chocolate drizzel on top. It was great

10/09/2006

Thank you for this delicious recipe - I served it to my "Hens' Club" yesterday along with Sweet BBQ chicken kabobs and received raves about the tasty lunch. We are a group of 10 ladies who have been friends for 55+ years (since our teen years) and delight in trying new recipes and ideas to serve each month - great fun. Glad my turn is over for this year!! Thanks again. Oh yes, one friend is making the cake for a Pot Luck dinner.

10/06/2006

This has replaced my hubby's favorite dessert. Made it for the family and got major compliments on how awesome this dessert is. Will definitely be making it often.

09/30/2006

This one is delicious !!!!!!!! I made 1/2 the recipe for my husband and his brother. My husband said it was the best he had ever tasted of the recipes I have found on line and that I had to make it again.

09/26/2006

I've made this a few times, a 50th wedding anniversary, dinner party, and a Stag and Doe. This cake was raved over and dissappeared really fast. I sprinkled pecans as the topping.

08/29/2006

This was easy to make although I did add some chocolate drizzle over the top ..everybody loved it and wanted seconds.. will definatly make it again

09/16/2006

Next time I won't put as many nuts. My staff loved it.

09/14/2006

09/14/2006

Fantastic, the only addition would be maybe some grated chocolate on top, or some chocolate sauce drizzled over the bananas before the pudding

09/09/2006

09/05/2006

I made this for my husband's birthday. It was a great success. Not only was it easy to make, it was delicious. I will certainly make this recipe again and mix the fruit and pudding to please everyone's taste.

09/05/2006

09/05/2006

Incredible! After trying it my daughter went out of her way to stop on her way home from working midnights and have another piece. It would work with any fruits and puddings that strike your fancy.

09/02/2006

09/01/2006

wonderful Cake my family just loves it and so simple to do

08/31/2006

this is really good it's nice with strawberrys and bluebarrys

08/30/2006

Excellent-but try adding 1 package of butterscotch or chocolate pudding instead of 2 packages of vanilla to change it up a bit.

08/30/2006

A great dessert for any meal. I work on a ship and my crew loves it.

08/29/2006

Out of this world delicious

08/29/2006

I have made this recipe twice this summer to take to large gatherings. The guests just raved about this dessert, everyone loved. I already have been told that it is a MUST for me to bring next year. Did find cream cheese hard to spread onto crumb crust, so distributed more evenly when I began this time. Fav summer dessert, you have to try it!

08/29/2006

Loved this cake, and by leaving the bananas off the top was able to keep the leftovers for a few days.

08/29/2006

This recipe is the easiest and most delicious to make and eat. I took it to a dinner party and wasn't allowed to take any home. I heard from my friend that it was gone the next day and with a fight for who got the most. FANTASTIC!!!!!!!

08/28/2006

I took this recipe to a family get-together and the response was overwhelming! I got rave reviews. They all think I can cook! I will definately make this again!!!

08/27/2006

My husband really enjoyed this dessert and had asked to make it for his co-workers. They all enjoyed it, that they would not let him take the remaining cake that was left to the other department to share it with them. One of his co-workers asked for the recipe so she could make it this week-end for a family reunion.

08/25/2006

This was a great treat, I cut the sugar back to 1/2 cup and only used 3 bananas. I will be making this again for sure!

08/16/2006

Made it for work, everyone thought I had put a lot of effort into it. Easy and very good.

08/15/2006

Excellent. My husband had a poker night and I made this. They loved it! Unfortunately none left for me:(

08/15/2006

08/15/2006

This is an all time winner! Everyone wants the recipe. It's even better after it sits for a day.

08/15/2006

This is a wonderful delight. The only things that I changed were: instead of 1 1/2 cups of graham crumbs I put in 2 1/2 cups. instead of a 14 oz can of crushed pinapple I used a 19 oz can.

08/15/2006

it's heaven.. can use other fruit, fresh or canned.. added, a few table spoons of white sugar to the graham crumbs, extra whip cream was great too.

08/13/2006

Very delicious. Great for large gathering when you don't want to bring anything home, because there won't be anything left. I have also tried it omitting the pineapple and using fresh blueberries with the banana.

08/12/2006

This dessert was fabulous, my kids absolutely loved it. It was quite easy to make, licking the bowl was delicious!!!

08/09/2006

This was a big hit in our house for both adults and kids! I did make a few changes however- I used 2 1/4 cups of crumbs and 1/2 cup of butter for the base for a 9X13in. dish and I added the crushed pineapple to the cream cheese layer instead. A great summer recipe that goes far.

08/06/2006

WOW!!!Again easy to make and ummm soooo good

07/23/2006

yum-yum-yummy! Great sweet treat for the entire family.

07/19/2006

Absolutely awesome! I had to print two copies of the recipe for my dinner guests!

07/11/2006

So good - however, I used fresh pineapple, because I did not have canned - as well, I crushed up Anna's cookies as the base. Awesome summer dessert!

07/08/2006

Big Hit! Made the light version, and cut the sugar in half. Very delicious - the entire office loved it.

07/04/2006

Very, very delicious, and a big hit. I cut the sugar in half, and will probably only use 1/4 C in the crust the next time. No problem with it staying together. I do wonder, though, why the tin foil in the bottom of the dish? It kept tearing and sticking to the bottom of the dessert. A bit of Pam on the bottom should suffice, I think. That's what I'll do the next time.

06/21/2006

Made it on Fathers Day, and my dad's comment was" you can make this for me anytime". I used light cream cheese, fat free pudding the Cool Whip light. Tasted great! This is a must have for any gathering.

06/20/2006

This was one of the most heavenly desserts that I've ever made, since I like a lot of pineapple I will double that ingredient next time, everyone has to try this recipe!!!

06/20/2006

A delicious blend of flavour, light and simple to make. My family enjoyed this and I will make this again for our summer reunion!

06/20/2006

06/19/2006

Excellent desert. Light and refreshing after a heavy meal. Would definitely make it again.

06/19/2006

This is an incredible dessert. Made it for a large gathering and it was truly a hit. Great summer dessert makes up quickly and does not heat up your kitchen. Changed it a bit by adding shaved dark chocolate to the top.

06/19/2006

this was a delicious dessert, but i found a little too much banana, so when i make this again on fathers day i am going to use a 19 oz can of pineapple, and about 2-3 bananas and also because some cannot eat the pecans i may use grated chocolate on top.

06/17/2006

06/14/2006

06/14/2006

OMG! Soooo good, but also very sweet!!. Loved it, but don't think I will make again as it is really sweet. If I make again, probably would half everything and make a smaller cake.

06/14/2006

Excellent dessert! Easy to make and very tasty. Will make again. Downfalls - takes longer than 15 min to prepare (but not much) and the base didn't stay together well. Maybe I'll have better luck next time!

06/05/2006

delicious and easy to make...it was a hit with the whole family..omit the tin foil bottom..turns out just fine without it
