any suggestions instead of cheese whiz ? my kids hate that stuff but I think that they'd love everything else about the recipe.

I made this with store-bought pie crust instead of the Bisquick and it was so quick and easy, and pretty tasty, as well! Took a lot longer to cook, though - probably twice as long. Would definitely make it again, though.

Would this recipe turn out as well using puff pastry??

Used salsa instead of ketchup. Added green peppers and chipolte sauce to kick it up. Turned out well but didn't fold as pretty as the one in the picture. Everyone at it up!

I couldn't find all-purpose baking mix. So I used a pizza dough mix. It served the same purpose.

Baking mix is Bisquick

I want to make this for supper some night but, I have never hear of All-Purpose Baking mix

03/26/2012

Really easy and quick. I used all tex mex cheese as I didn't have any velvety and also added a bit of salsa because I ran out of ketchup. Very tasty. Will definitely make again.
