  • Stir jelly powder into boiling water, for 2 minutes or until completely dissolved. Mix in cold water.
  • Leave angel food cake in plastic holder. Poke 12 large holes through top of cake, with handle of a wooden spoon, being careful not to hit the bottom of the cake. Pour dissolved jelly into holes. (note: jelly will come up the sides of the plastic holder but cake will absorb the jelly mixture). Chill for 4 hours or overnight.
  • Run a knife around the inside and outside edges of the cake, invert onto a platter. Frost cake with whipped topping. Cover top with grated chocolate.

Coarsely Grated Chocolate

Microwave each chocolate squares on MEDIUM for 10 - 15 seconds, then grate using the coarse side of a cheese grater.
