  • Cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.
  • Meanwhile, brown meat with onions and garlic in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add vegetables; cook 5 min., stirring occasionally. Stir in pasta sauce. Bring to boil; cover. Simmer on low heat 5 min.
  • Drain pasta. Add to sauce in skillet; mix well. Remove from heat. Add cheese and basil; mix lightly.


Prepare using whole wheat penne or linguine pasta.
