We've taken the classic turkey BLT sandwich and given it a makeover. Swap out the bread in the traditional sandwich for iceberg lettuce and you've got a crisp turkey BLT that you can feel good about!

  • Place a whole head of iceberg lettuce on cutting board, stem side up. Cut a 1-1/4-inch-thick slice off the right side of the lettuce. Then, cut a second slice off of the left side. Remove the centre of each slice, leaving a bowl-shaped layer of 4 or 5 tightly nestled leaves. Cover and refrigerate removed lettuce and remaining head of lettuce for another use.
  • Fill 1 of the lettuce sections with 6 slices (150 g) deli turkey, 1 Singles Light Slice, 1/4 cup chopped tomato and 1 Tbsp. Oscar Mayer Bacon Bits; drizzle with 2 tsp. Kraft Light Rancher's Choice Dressing.
  • Cover with remaining lettuce section to form sandwich; cut crosswise in half to serve.


Substitute 1/4 cup Cracker Barrel Shredded Old Cheddar Cheese for the Singles Slice.

Creative Leftovers

Tear the leftover lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Keep it fresh and crisp by packing it in a resealable plastic bag or airtight container along with a dampened paper towel. Then, refrigerate until ready to use in salads or sandwiches.
