Baked pasta casseroles are perfect dishes to serve a crowd. Even though this easy-to-make baked casserole is prepared with rigatoni, you can instead prepare it using your favourite pasta shape for a change of pace.

  • Brown meat in large skillet on medium heat. Stir in pasta sauce; simmer on medium-low heat 10 min., stirring occasionally.
  • Meanwhile, cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt. Combine eggs, ricotta, Parmesan and 1 cup mozzarella.
  • Heat oven to 350ºF. Drain pasta. Spread 1-1/2 cups pasta sauce mixture onto bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray. Top with layers of half each of the pasta, ricotta mixture, remaining pasta sauce mixture and remaining mozzarella; repeat layers.
  • Bake 30 to 35 min. or until heated through.

Make Ahead

This flavourful pasta recipe can be assembled ahead of time. Refrigerate up to 8 hours before baking as directed, increasing the baking time to 40 to 45 min. or until casserole is heated through.
