  • Cook broccoli in boiling water in large saucepan 5 min. or until crisp-tender, adding peas to the boiling water for the last minute; drain. Rinse with cold water; drain well.
  • Place broccoli and peas on large platter; top with bacon, avocados, onions and cheese.
  • Drizzle with dressing just before serving.

Special Extra

Sprinkle with dried cranberries before serving.

Make Ahead

This flavourful salad can be prepped ahead of time. Prepare recipe as directed except do not add the avocados or dressing. Refrigerate salad up to 4 hours. Chop avocado and add to the salad just before serving topped with the dressing.

How to Help Prevent the Chopped Avocado from Turning Brown

Toss the chopped avocados with small amount of fresh lemon juice or lime juice before adding to the salad.
