  • Cook hamburger patties in large nonstick skillet on medium heat 10 min. Turn hamburger patties; add peppers. Cook until hamburger patties are cooked through and peppers are crisp-tender, stirring peppers occasionally.
  • Add in pasta sauce, water and chili powder. Bring to boil.
  • Stir in rice; cover. Reduce heat to low. Simmer 5 min. Sprinkle with cheese; cover. Let stand 5 min. before serving.

Substitute your family's favourite frozen vegetables for the peppers to cut prep time even more.

Great Recipe, Peppers can definately be subsititued for any other vegetable, fresh or frozen and is still GREAT! Any type of pasta sauce can be used as well! Quick, easy, the whole family loves it!

I tried this tasty recipe. My son and his girlfriend came over and we enjoyed it very much. Instead of 1 Tbsp. chili I cut it down to 3/4 tsp. That made it plenty hot for all of us. Will certainly make this excellent meal again. Thank you Kraft.
