Make It

  • Cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.

  • Meanwhile, heat dressing in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add onions and garlic; cook and stir 2 min. Add tomatoes; cook 5 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally.

  • Drain pasta. Add to tomato mixture; toss to coat. Sprinkle with cheese and basil.

Added chorizo and shrimp, used a mix of shredded Italian cheese, and only had dried basil. But oh my, did we ever love it!! So easy to make too!

EXCELLENT!!! I had a vegetarian friend over for dinner and it was the perfect solution Easy to make, its a hearty meal and inexpensive. I also like the ingredients are all things you would normally have in the house. I also added sauteed zucchini to our meal and served it with a caeaser salad and toasted garlic rolls.

This was quite good, however I used canned tomatoes and wouldn't again. Would definitely stick with fresh. Also added chicken but would leave that out for a good, inexpensive meal on the weekdays.

My family loves this recipe. I use fresh (not cooked) chicken...increase the dressing to 1/2 cup & saute the chicken in the dressing before adding the tomatoes. I mix the shredded cheese in about 1-2 minutes before removing from the heat; toss everything together; and top each serving with grated parmesan cheese. Great reheated the next day as leftovers too.

I’ve made this recipe a few times and everyone loved it! It’s a great, quick, simple and healthy recipe for those weeknights where you really don’t want to cook but don’t want to resort to takeout. When I make this recipe, I add ½ cup of dressing and add two chopped green onions with about ½ teaspoon of garlic to my onions. Very good recipe!

I just made this on the weekend and it was so delicious. I also used a half cup of the dressing and combined 2 cups grape tomatoes with one regular chopped tomato. I also added a 6oz package of fresh baby spinach with the tomatoes in the pan and cooked until just wilted. I think next time I will add some hot pepper flakes, just to add a little spice. Very good!!

I made this and both my husband and really enjoyed it. We will definitely be making it again. I increased the dressing to 1/2 cup and it could have been more, but we had a fair bit of pasta. I also added sliced mushrooms and served it all with asparagus and thinly sliced pork loin. Mmmmmmm it was yummy!

Really good, this is a quick week night, vegetarian meal. I used fresh mozzerella (3 small balls) rather than shredded, just tore it up and tossed it in. You could also add a few cooked shrimp or cooked chicken if you wanted some meat in it. Definitely a keeper.

This was a nice dish, made it with Kraft Signature Tomato and Oregano BBQ chicken & roasted red peppers. I didn't have the exact ingrediants so I used canned diced tomatoes drained & reg dried basil. I also doubled the sause. A little bland but good! The red peppers added a lot.

I sautéed some mushrooms and asparagus pieces with the onions and garlic. Also substituted fresh mozzarella cubed up and tossed with hot pasta so it got all melty.

I used herb and garlic flavoured cream cheese instead of plain and used Aylmer Accents stewed tomatoes (drained)as I had no fresh tomatoes on hand. I added ground chicken as well (cooked, cubed chicken would work too) and I topped with parmesan before serving! Got rave reviews from my entire family (even my picky 6 year old gobbled it up!)

I am usually pretty particular about my pasta and sauces. I love pasta and I really like full bodied tomatoe sauces and cream sauces. I was sceptical about this recipe, thinking it maybe to thin but I was totally amazed by it. It was probably one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had made at home. It truly rivals any of the fancy restraunt's pasta dishes that I have eaten. This one here is a keeper for sure, all I did was add a little more of the Dressing, it seemed not to be enough for the pasta I had.
