great desert . My friends loved it.
I made this recipe and pretty much stayed with the ingredients listed, except that instead of using Oreo cookies in the crust, I used Oreo crumbs. I found that it wasn't very sweet, and the coffee flavour seemed to over-power the chocolate. It was hard to even taste the chocolate in it. If I was to make it again, I would use the Oreo cookies, and would reduce the amount of coffee, removing the batter before the coffee was added, which is mixed with the chocolate. I usually like dark chocolate, but for this recipe I might opt semi-sweet chocolate instead. Overall it was ok. It was better when I added whipped cream!
This recipe was fantastic! if i weren't on a diet, I would be making these every other day. These bars are just that good!
