  • Heat oven to 350ºF.
  • Spray 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray; cover bottom with parchment. Beat cream cheese and sugar in medium bowl with mixer until blended. Add egg; beat on low speed just until blended.
  • Prepare cake batter in separate bowl as directed on package; stir in apples. Pour into prepared pan. Top with spoonfuls of cheesecake batter; swirl gently with knife.
  • Bake 35 to 40 min. or until top is golden brown and firm to the touch. Cool completely.
  • Microwave caramels and milk in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1-1/2 min. or until caramels are completely melted, stirring every 30 sec. Drizzle over cake.

Special Extra

For added flavour and crunch, stir 1/2 chopped walnuts into cake batter before pouring into prepared pan and baking as directed.
