Cool soup. Refrigerate up to 3 days. Reheat just before serving. For longer storage, freeze up to 4 months. Thaw in refrigerator overnight before reheating.
If using a blender to puree the soup, cover the filled blender with lid, then a clean dish towel to prevent any hot soup from leaking from top of blender.

This is a delicious soup and we will make it many times. I did not have the Sun Dried Tomato Dressing on hand and so I used Kraft Zesty Italian piquante Dressing. We loved it. Please keep up the good work as over the years I have used many of your receipes for many occasions.

A very nutritious and delicious soup.
Way better than I thought it was going to turn out. The ingredients don't appear to yield a lot of soup but there as 8 cups as indicated. Very tasty and spicy and my husband said, "it smells like Christmas in here" from the onions and tomato dressing. I was very surprised at the creamy texture - I have a hand blender and it really does the trick. Very pleased with this recipe and will make it again!
