  • Toss cheese with corn starch until evenly coated.
  • Bring beer and lemon juice just to boil in large saucepan on medium heat.
  • Add cheese, in small batches, to beer mixture, cooking and stirring constantly after each addition until cheese is completely melted and mixture is well blended. Bring to boil; cook and stir 1 to 2 min. or until thickened. Remove from heat.
  • Stir in mustard.

Serving Suggestion

Pour hot fondue into fondue pot to keep warm while serving with pretzels, cooked tri-coloured baby potatoes, red pepper pieces and/or cubed cured meats.


Substitute chicken broth for the beer.
