this is a great base for an awesome dish... i added green onions, cajun spice, srirachi sauce and a cup of cottage cheese... everyone loved it :)

this recipe rocks. If you were to take a 1KG bag of Hashbrowns, double the rest of your recipe to ensure the mixture is not dry. Cream of mushroom soup is the best! You can also add a bit more fresh mushrooms and even some sweated onions to the mix if you like. A bit of hot sauce also in the mix is very good. Gives the dish a zing. Very good heated the next day with hot sauce. YUM!

I also made it with cream of mushroom soup and crushed cornflakes. Tasted great.

Very good but I prefer it with cream of mushroom soup instead of the cream of chicken.

Easy, fast, delicious, fool proof! I love the idea of making it the day before and chilling until you are ready to bake it. If i had company come over unexpectedly, i could make this.
