Look for firm, smooth, well-shaped potatoes that are free of wrinkles, cracks and blemishes. Avoid any with green-tinged skins or sprouting "eyes" or buds.
Prepare using any all-purpose potato.

Soooo good!! My husband loved it, he kept going for a second helping a third....then I had to stop him!!!
this is now our family's favorite scalloped potatoes its soooo good the best!
Loved adding the carrots in this recipe for the added nutrition. I was short one potatoe and ended up using 5 red potatoes and one large yam and it turned out delicious. It was a well liked by both kids and adults. The only other changes I made were decreasing the salt to 1/2 tsp., and increasing the milk to 2 cups. My 14 year old son wants me to make it again soon.
