  • Place mint, then cherries in fine-mesh strainer placed over bowl or large measuring cup; press with muddler to extract all juices. Discard pressed cherries and mint.
  • Add water to drink mix in 1-L glass or plastic pitcher; stir until mix is dissolved. Add ginger ale, lime juice and cherry juice; stir until blended.

How to Muddle

Use a gentle twisting action with your muddler to press the ingredients in the strainer to extract the juices. If you don't have a muddler, you can instead use a rubber scraper to press the fruit in the strainer.

Serving Suggestion

Serve in ice-filled glasses garnished with fresh mint sprigs and lime wedges.
