  • Cook and stir chicken in large skillet sprayed with cooking spray on medium-high heat 5 min. Add peppers and onions; cook 5 min. or until chicken is done and vegetables are crisp-tender, stirring frequently.
  • Stir in tomatoes, water and Macaroni. Bring to boil; cover.
  • Simmer on low heat 10 min. or until Macaroni is tender, stirring occasionally. Add Cheese Sauce Mix; mix well.


Substitute 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables for the peppers and onions.

    This recipe was ate by all here which is a very good sign and I was asked to make it again. So far I have made it once a week for three weeks. I am going to try some variations mentioned by others and possibly some of my own.

    I saw "Sharp Cheddar" and it wasn't until I was actually making this recipe that I realized it referred to Kraft Dinner. Which is fine, but I had planned on using sharp cheddar cheese. I cooked whole-wheat elbow macaroni but did add the Cheese Sauce Mix and my son and husband loved it!
