  • HEAT oven to 350°F.
  • COMBINE chicken, mushrooms, salsa, salad dressing, onion and red pepper; mix lightly.
  • TOP muffin halves with chicken mixture. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • BAKE 10 min. Top with cheese slices.
  • CONTINUE baking until cheese melts.

Use Your Microwave

For quick and easy cooked chicken, microwave 1 boneless, chicken breast on HIGH for 3 min. Cover loosely with waxed paper to avoid spattering.

    It was great...although I changed the recipe quite a bit..I used taco seasoning instead of the dressing and old grated cheddar instead of processed and then I used naan bread instead of the english muffins brushed with olive oil and garlic...was fabulous!!

    The chicken mixture with the Thousand Island dressing is suprisingly delicious! The cheese slice is the perfect finishing touch to tie it all together. Have made this recipe multiple times as a great snack!
