  • Heat oil in large saucepan on medium-high heat. Add squash and yellow onions; cook 5 min. or until onions are softened, stirring frequently. Add cumin; cook and stir 1 min.
  • Add pasta sauce and water; stir. Bring to boil; cover. Simmer on medium-low heat 25 min., stirring occasionally. Add chickpeas; stir. Cook 5 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
  • Stir in green onions.

Special Extra

Prepare recipe as directed, stirring in 2 cups chopped stemmed fresh kale leaves for the last 3 min. of the stew cooking time.
