  • Place ribs in Dutch oven or stockpot. Add enough water to completely cover ribs; cover with lid. Bring to boil; simmer on medium-low heat 45 min. or until ribs are very tender but not falling off the bone. Transfer to rimmed baking sheet; cool completely.
  • Heat barbecue to medium heat. Mix sugar and dry seasonings until blended; rub evenly onto ribs. Cut ribs into 2-rib sections; place in large bowl.
  • Whisk dressing, ketchup, lime juice and soy sauce until blended. Pour half the dressing mixture over ribs; toss until evenly coated. Grill 12 to 15 min. or until heated through, turning occasionally and brushing with remaining dressing mixture.
  • Place ribs on platter; sprinkle with onions.

Special Extra

For a touch of heat, add 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper to seasoning mixture before rubbing onto ribs and grilling as directed.
