Keep iced cake refrigerated. Insert toothpicks into top of cake, then cover loosely with plastic wrap. The toothpicks will keep the plastic wrap off the surface of the cake preventing it from sticking to the icing.
Garnish iced cake with chocolate curls before serving. To make the curls, microwave additional 1 oz. semi-sweet chocolate on HIGH for just a few seconds to slightly warm the chocolate. Holding the chocolate piece firmly in your hand, carefully pull a vegetable peeler over the flat bottom of the chocolate. Use a toothpick to lift the curls and place them on the iced cake.
