  • Heat oven to 375°F.
  • Combine oats, flour and baking soda. Beat butter, peanut butter and sugar in large bowl with mixer until well blended. Add egg; mix well. Gradually beat in oat mixture until well blended. Stir in raisins.
  • Drop tablespoonfuls of dough, 2 inches apart, onto baking sheets sprayed with cooking spray. Flatten dough slightly with back of spoon; top each with 1 chocolate piece and additional tablespoonful of dough. Use back of spoon to flatten dough slightly. If necessary, press edges of dough together to enclose chocolate.
  • Bake 10 to 12 min. or until golden brown. (Do not overbake.) Cool on baking sheets 5 min. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.

Substitute your favourite dried fruit, such as cranberries or chopped apricots, for the raisins.

Very delicious!! although they turned out a little flat for me..but that didn't effect the taste at all..lots of pleasant yummy flavours all together!!

These cookies turned out picture perfect. They have a little something for everyone with the peanut butter, chocolate, raisin and oatmeal. I used plain peanut butter and put a few white chocolate chips on the inside of the cookies. Use your hands on this one. I used the back of a tsp. measuring spoon to make an indent in the cookies to fill with peanut butter and then used my hands to pat out a flat disc, layed it on top of the cookie and hand pressed the edges. They turned out picture perfect with a gooey peanut butter white chocolate center!
