  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
  • Beat butter, and sugar in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing well after each addition. Blend in chocolate and vanilla. Add flour mixture alternately with milk, mixing well after each addition.
  • Pour into greased and floured 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  • Bake 55 min. to 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean. Cool 10 min. Remove bread from pan to wire rack; cool completely.

How to Store

Wrap cooled bread loaf tightly. Store up to 3 days at room temperature, or up to 3 months in freezer.

Special Extra

Add 3/4 cup Baker's Milk Chocolate Chips, chopped pecans or chopped walnuts to batter before pouring into prepared pan and baking as directed.
