  • Mix first 4 ingredients in large bowl until blended; stir in remaining ingredients.
  • Press onto bottom of parchment-lined 9-inch square pan.
  • Bake 25 min. or until golden brown. Cool completely before cutting into bars.


Substitute dried apricots for the dates.

    Love these bars! I substituted dried cranberries for raisins, finely chopped both dates & cranberries and melted semi sweet chocolate to spread on top of cooled bars before cutting into smaller squares. Also reduced oven tempurature to 325 F as they brown quickly around the edges.
