  • COMBINE flour, sugar, baking powder and soda, and salt. Stir in cheese. Blend together yogurt, butter and eggs.
  • ADD liquid to dry ingredients. Stir only until moistened. Spoon into 12 large greased muffin cups.
  • BAKE at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm with apple jelly, if desired.

    I have put some green onions, bacon and breakfast sausage, very good

    After making this recipe the first time and finding them dry, I made some changes to it. I now add 1 1/4 cup of plain yogurt, atleast 2 1/2 cups of cheese and use no sugar. I also throw in one of my sons apple sauce snack cups and this makes the recipe much more moist. before putting your muffins in the oven throw some extra shredded cheese on the tops and your muffins will be extra cheesy!
