  • Mix meat, mozzarella, bread crumbs and egg just until blended; shape into 20 (1-inch) meatballs.
  • Heat 2 tsp. oil in large deep nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add meatballs; cook 5 min. or until evenly browned on all sides, stirring occasionally. Remove meatballs from skillet, reserving drippings in skillet; cover meatballs to keep warm.
  • Heat remaining oil in same skillet. Add onions; cook 3 to 5 min. or until crisp-tender, stirring frequently. Add pasta sauce and water; mix well. Return meatballs to skillet; spoon sauce over meatballs. Cover; simmer 5 min. or until meatballs are done (165ºF).
  • Top with Parmesan; simmer, uncovered, 5 min. Sprinkle with parsley.

Serve with your favourite hot cooked pasta, such as spaghetti.
