  • Microwave milk and chocolate in 2-cup microwaveable measuring cup on HIGH 1 to 2 min. or until hot. Whisk until chocolate is melted and mixture is frothy.
  • Stir coconut extract into brewed coffee. Pour coffee, then milk mixture into 4 mugs; top with remaining ingredients.


This luscious hot beverage, with its chocolate, coconut and pecan combo, tastes like the classic German chocolate cake.


Substitute almonds, hazelnuts or walnuts for the pecans.

    This was a delicious treat, with a nice hint of coconut flavour (this coming from someone who's not usually a fan of coconut!). Perfect for a Sunday brunch! I may recommend skipping the pecans; Being a garnish, they don't add much to the flavour, and get in the way while you're drinking. But they DO make it look very appetizing.
