To prepare on top of the stove, place caramels in heavy saucepan. Add espresso and milk; cook on low heat until caramels are completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring frequently.
Serve as a warm dip with assorted cut-up fresh fruit, cookies, Jet-Puffed Marshmallows, pound cake cubes and/or pretzels.
Substitute 1/4 cup brewed strong Maxwell House or Nabob Coffee for the prepared espresso.
