Inspired by the popular cocktail, this Crantini Jelly is a must-try recipe. Cranberry juice, sugar, pectin, vodka and vermouth are cooked briefly to produce gleaming jars of homemade jelly.

Make It

  • Measure cranberry juice into a large saucepan.

  • Add sugar and mix well.

  • Place saucepan over high heat. Bring to a full rolling boil and boil hard 1 min, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.

  • Immediately stir in liquid fruit pectin, vodka and vermouth.

  • Pour quickly into warm, sterilized jars filling up to 1/4 inch from rim.

  • Seal while hot with sterilized 2-piece lids with new centres.

Luv this recipe. I think I've made it every year for the past 10!

I have made this recipe a few times now. I give it out at Christmas to my neighbours. There was one Christmas I missed, very busy that year. One of my neighbours has not let me forget it, LOL, so he is rec'ing a extra large jar this year.

Everyone has grown to expect this gift at Christmas - last year I didn't make it and there were many sad faces when I gave salsa instead!! I'm back to giving Crantini Jelly this year!!!!!

Really beautiful and easy jelly. Has a distinct alcohol taste just like the drink it is named after. Excellent with meat and cheese.
