  • Heat oil in large saucepan on medium heat. Add onions; cook and stir 5 min. or until crisp-tender.
  • Add all remaining ingredients except cream cheese product; stir. Bring to boil; cover. Simmer on medium-low heat 25 min. or until vegetables are tender. Cool 10 min. Use slotted spoon to remove bay leaf and thyme sprigs; discard.
  • Blend soup, in small batches, in blender until smooth. Return to pan. Gradually add cream cheese, cooking and stirring with whisk after each addition on medium-low heat 3 min. or until cream cheese is completely melted.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with crusty bread, and a tossed green salad topped with your favourite Kraft Dressing.


Prepare using vegetable broth.

Special Extra

Garnish each filled bowl of soup with a sprig of additional fresh thyme.
