Make It

  • Heat oven to 425°F.

  • Add broccoli and carrots to large saucepan of boiling water; cook 2 to 3 min. or until crisp-tender. Drain, reserving 1/4 cup cooking water.

  • Cook and stir cream cheese product, milk, onions and garlic in same saucepan on medium-low heat 2 min. or until cream cheese is completely melted and mixture is well blended. Gradually add reserved cooking water until sauce is of desired consistency. Add cooked vegetables; stir until evenly coated.

  • Spoon vegetable mixture into 2-L casserole dish sprayed with cooking spray; top with cheddar and bacon. Cover.

  • Bake 25 min. or until heated through, uncovering for the last 5 min.

    Substitute cauliflower florets for the broccoli.

  • HOW TO DOUBLE RECIPE

    To double recipe, prepare as directed doubling all ingredients, and substituting a 13x9-inch baking dish for the casserole dish.

I made this casserole for Christmas dinner and had many request for the recipe so I posted it on facebook and got more family and friends to try it , great taste and best of all so easy to make ,thanks

I made this recipe with cauliflower for Thanksgiving family dinner. It was good, only I wouldn't use the cooking creme again, the flavour is just not the same as the herb and garlic cream cheese, too much thyme or some such strong flavour in it. Maybe use the actual cream cheese instead. Overall was good, but not amazing. Very simple to make though, which was great.
