  • Mix cream cheese product and hot sauce until blended.
  • Shape into 16 balls, using 1 Tbsp. cream cheese mixture for each.
  • Roll in nuts until evenly coated.
  • Refrigerate 2 hours.

Note

These flavourful cheese balls can be refrigerated up to 3 days before serving. Or for longer storage, freeze in freezer-weight resealable plastic bags up to 2 weeks; thaw in refrigerator before serving.

Substitute

Prepare using toasted pecans. Or for a change of pace, substitute chopped fresh chives or paprika for the toasted nuts.

Adjust the Heat

Increase or decrease the amount of hot pepper sauce to suit your taste. Or, omit it entirely.
