The first time I made this I followed the recipe and it was great, the second time I changed it a bit. I used a 28oz can of stewed tomatoes and substituted broccoli, yellow pepper, and chopped spinach for the green pepper. I cooked the chicken, the broccoli and spinach in the tomatoes and then added the cheez whiz. With the changes, the recipe becomes a 5 star.
I tried this last night. It was a bit runny at first but I noticced if you let it sit for a bit, it will thicken as it stands. Plus, I added Kraft Double Chedder shredded cheese to it and it did help thicken it fast. My son did not care for it, but I enjoyed it. :)
This was a great hit with my husband and I. Quick and easy after work to make. For Chicken I used the pre-cooked ready chicken I always have at home to put in salads so that made it even faster to make. I re-heated the left overs the next night and it was still delicious.
