To make the dessert easier to cut into squares, place chilled dessert in freezer for 1 hour before cutting into squares.

You have a recipe for a lemon pudding square where the crust is as follows:__1 cup softened butter_2 cups flour_1\4 cup sugar_1\2 cup chopped pecans. Does not tell how long to bake this before adding the lemon filling with the topping of cool whip
Fantastic. Absolutely my Go-To dessert. TIPS: 1) Try leaving off the whipped topping till ready to serve, then spritz a flower of canned real whipped cream on each square. 2) Chill the crust in the freezer for half an hour before putting on the next layer. 3). Chill everything to almost-frozen before cutting up. I make a load of squares, thaw as many as I need for one hour before serving. TRY IT!
I am extremely dissappointed with this recipe as I just wasted over $15 in ingredients because the "crust" would not stay put. No where on the directions does it say anything about letting it set, freezing it or baking it. I baked it because of reviews and it still moved as soon as the cream cheese mix went on it. Ruining the entire dessert and leaving me with nothing.
