  • Cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.
  • Meanwhile, heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add garlic; cook and stir 30 sec. to 1 min. or until fragrant. Add fish; cook 2 to 3 min. or until lightened in colour, stirring occasionally. Stir in onions. Transfer to bowl; cover to keep warm.
  • Add broth and milk to skillet; whisk in cream cheese product until well blended. Cook and stir on medium heat 1 min. or until slightly thickened. (Do not let sauce come to boil.)
  • Drain pasta. Add to sauce along with the fish; cook and stir 1 to 2 min. or until fish flakes easily with fork and pasta is evenly coated with sauce.

Special Extra

Serve with lemon wedges for a hint of citrus flavour.

Does anyone have any tips to make the sauce thicker without adding more cream cheese?

My family enjoyed this recipe. I added some crushed red chili flakes to give it a bit more of a kick. Will make again!

Very Easy to make and quick...especially if you cook the pasta up ahead of time. Well liked by both husband and kids...You can use reduced fat cream cheese any variety you like...reduced sodium chicken stock or broth , Add your own dill or other herbs and hot peppers if you like . I also added cut up variety of veggies (like sweet peppers and celery) pre-cooked in Micro and added at the end... :-)
