I also made some changes after reading the other reviews...I sauteed the carrots in a frying pan with finely chopped onions, red peppers and minced garlic. I also added 1 tsp. minced garlic and about 2 tbsp of tomato paste to the white sauce for the bottom of the pan, so it bacame a rose sauce. Even with no meat, my boys, ages 10 and 11, asked for 3 helpings! I will make this again! :)
I made some changes to this recipe. I used medium cheddar and spinach noodles
The receipe took a long time and it was very bland. I would change to the cheese to something like a nacho cheese to make the taste more interesting.
