made this for a bbq potluck and wow.......it was inhaled. I made exactly as is...and it was really good. I was a bit surprised, to be honest...but it was delicious._
I recommend using shredded/grated carrot, diced apple,diced celery, diced sweet onion, and sweet peas......THE PEAS & APPLE MAKE the salad !__You can add canned tuna OR diced ham- OR flakes of ham for the protein._YOU can add tangy g*****hees or diced cheddar as well.__Fresh herbs are always great added too !__always a crowd pleaser....__It doesn't keep well, as it gets watery from all the veggies...Make only what you need and I never add all the milk into the KD recipe either.
This is a recipe that my wife's grandmother used to make some 30 years ago.
