  • Cut 4 thin slices from cucumber; reserve for garnish. Cut remaining cucumber piece lengthwise in half, then cut each piece crosswise into 4 pieces; place in 1-1/2-L pitcher.
  • Add all remaining ingredients except tomato juice; mix well. Use back of wooden spoon to crush ingredients in pitcher; stir in tomato juice.
  • Refrigerate 1 hour. Strain juice mixture into ice-filled glasses. Garnish with reserved cucumber slices.

Variation

Omit the vodka.
