Simple cupcakes get dressed up for Hanukkah! Chocolate cake mix and vanilla frosting make cute cupcakes for a new Hanukkah tradition.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Place cake mix, dry pudding mix, milk and eggs in large bowl. Beat with electric mixer on medium speed 2 min. or until well blended. Stir in chopped chocolate. Spoon batter evenly into 24 paper-lined medium muffin cups, filling each cup 2/3 full.
Bake 20 to 25 min. or until toothpick inserted in centres comes out clean. Cool 10 min; remove from pans to wire racks. Cool completely.
Spread tops of cupcakes with frosting. Insert blue candles into tops of 9 of the cupcakes. Arrange in the shape of a menorah, elevating the centre cupcake for the shammus of the menorah. Serve with the remaining cupcakes.
This is a fun treat for celebrating the last night of Hannukah. It can serve as both your menorah and your dessert!
