  • Heat oven to 350ºF.
  • Microwave 4 oz. chocolate and butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min. or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended. Add sugar; mix well. Blend in eggs, coffee granules and vanilla. Stir in flour and nuts.
  • Spread into 13x9-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Bake 30 to 35 min. or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean. (Do not over bake). Cool on wire rack 30 min.
  • Meanwhile microwave 3 oz. remaining chocolate and Cool Whip in microwaveable bowl on MEDIUM 2 to 2-1/2 min. or until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended. Spoon over cooled brownies. Grate remaining 1 oz. chocolate, sprinkle over brownies. Refrigerate 30 min. or until chocolate glaze has set.


Try using pecans instead of walnuts.
